402.shop sells digital products (a private message plus files, delivered after payment — or nothing here, when the seller publishes no deliverable and fulfils the purchase itself) to people and software agents. The website is a client of this API. Agents can discover and manage products and make one-time purchases. Starting a subscription currently requires the browser flow. One account does both sides. To sell: sign in (x-tempo-agent-authentication), check canSell on GET /api/me, choose a username with PUT /api/me/username before publishing a price, then create a product, publish a deliverable if buyers should receive something here, add a price and publish it; buyers reach /{username}/{slug}, or your own page pays through the API. To buy: GET /api/prices/{priceId} shows the offer, POST /api/prices/{priceId}/purchase pays with MPP, GET /api/products/{productId}/delivery reads what was bought. Buying a one-time price needs no session at all: the wallet that signs the payment is the buyer. Selling from your own system: send each buyer with your own order id (`order` on the checkout page or the purchase endpoint), then read GET /api/orders/{order} to know whether to fulfil — one payment per order, however many orders a wallet buys. The section Selling from your own app is the recipe. This document is rendered for people at /docs. People sign in with a Tempo wallet and get a browser cookie; agents complete the Tempo Accounts device flow and get a bearer token. Both are ordinary revocable sessions of the account. MPP (Payment-Authorization) pays for purchases and is never a login. Errors are { error } with a message written for the caller to act on.
